Clarendon Senior Breakfast February 13, 2018 was our annual Senior Citizen Breakfast hosted by the Town at Clarendon School. The attendees were treated to a performance by the Drama Club and the kindergarten students. The Clarendon fifth grade children helped serve the senior citizens their breakfast during the show.
Clarendon Spelling Bee Finalists “BEE”yond Proud in Secaucus - Students in grades 1 through 5 from Huber Street and Clarendon Schools embarked upon a shared journey full of hard work, determination and the opportunity to make memories and friendships that last a lifetime. This journey is the Scripps National Spelling Bee!The Scripps National Spelling Bee, is one of the nation's oldest and most iconic competitions, and this year marks nine decades! The purpose of the SCRIPPS National Spelling Bee is not only to help students improve their spelling, but also to increase their vocabularies, improve writing skills, public speaking and poise, and develop correct English usage that will help them throughout their lives.Over 300 dedicated students in grades 1 through 5 from Huber Street and Clarendon Schools in Secaucus, New Jersey have become a part of this unique experience by participating in preliminary spelling bees.
Kindergarten News “Students in Mrs. Lamatina’s class have been learning about dinosaurs and their extinction. They all had the chance to pretend to be paleontologists and dig for fossils in a chocolate chip cookie! Students recorded how many “bones” they found and attempted to do their dig without breaking their cookie!”

St. Jude News On Tuesday, January 23rd, the St. Jude Committee attended the Town Council Meeting and Mayor Gonnelli presented us with a donation of $1,743. This was the total amount we raised for our Ice Skating Event that was held on January 20th. The Mayor was so generous and offered us another Ice Skating event which will be held on Saturday, February 10th for the community to unite again for an amazing cause.

St. Jude's News The Secaucus School District hosted a St Jude Monster Golf Day, on December 28. Everyone who attended enjoyed golfing in the spooky facility and tons of arcade games. It was the perfect outing on a cold day. Thank you all who came out to support the children of St Jude Research Hospital.
