Mrs. Harrsch, Mrs. Backiel, & Mrs. Barletta's Supply List For The 2019-2020 School Year

Welcome to Fourth Grade

Dear Students,

      Soon you will be a “BIG” 4th grader. I’m sure you’ll enjoy making new friends, having a lot of fun, and of course learning many new and exciting things!  In the fourth grade, you will have greater responsibility and need to stay organized. So let’s start this year off by getting all the supplies you’ll need to have a terrific year!

Science

  • 1 ½  inch binder, loose leaf paper, and a 3 hole zipper pouch to place in binder filled with pencils, pens, erasers

 

Language Arts

  • 1 ½  inch Language Arts binder with 7 insert tab dividers with paper labeled: Writing Binder, a 3 hole zipper pouch to place in binder and fill with pencils, pens (blue or black, and red), post it notes, pencil sharpener, highlighter
  • 2 Mead composition books 1 labeled Writing Journal and 1 labeled Vocabulary Journal
  • 1 (1) subject notebook labeled Spelling

 

Spanish

  • 1 (1) subject notebook labeled Spanish
  • 1 Plastic Folder labeled Spanish

 

Math

  • 1 ½  inch Math & Social Studies binder with insert to separate it into 2 sections (one section for math and the other for social studies), loose leaf paper for binder, a 3 hole zipper pouch to place in binder and fill with pencils, pencil top erasers, dry erase markers, pens (blue or black, and red), post it notes, pencil sharpener, highlighter
  • 1 Plastic folder labeled: Math and Social Studies



General Supplies

  • 1 Supply box with crayons, colored pencils, or markers, scissors, and glue sticks
  • D.E.A.R. book (students must always have a book of leisure in their desk)
  • 2 Book sox (Jumbo Size)
  • 1 set of headphones for computers (not expensive ones) and a mouse (wired or wireless)
  • Smock
  • 2 Plastic folders labeled Desk Folder and Take Home Folder

     

      Be sure to bring this letter and all of your supplies on the first day of school.   We are looking forward to a great year!

  • Package of 12-24 Crayola TWISTABLES (preferred) or crayons (NO MARKERS)
  • Erasers (NO pencil toppers please) (2)
  • Large glue stick (0.77 oz. Elmer’s preferred) (1)
  • Pad of 3 inch by 3 inch Post-It Notes (1)
  • Yellow highlighters (2)
  • EXPO dry erase markers (1 multi-color package of 4 or 5)
