Read Across America Students from Ms. Holsten’s 4th grade homeroom joined Ms. Sallustio’s kindergartners to buddy-read as part of this week’s Read Across America activities. The kindergarten students were so proud to read their own writings to the “big kids”. They then selected from a variety of Dr. Seuss books which the 4th grade students read to the “little ones”. Kindergarten News Ms. Lamatina’s class was so excited to end their Show and Tell writing unit by hosting their very own bookstore! Students prepared by making fake money, designing decorations, creating signs, and even making their own cafe for serving treats! Their books were displayed, and “customers” came to read the books, meet the authors, and purchase their favorites!
