Throughout the week students and staff will be participating in numerous lessons, activities and assemblies.

The 2nd grade students in Mrs. Wurst’s class are learning about where sand comes from in Science. After hypothesizing the different ways sand may form, the students worked in small groups to turn “boulders” into “sand”, modeling the way boulders travel down rivers towards oceans, breaking down to create sand.

In Science class the children learned the structure & functions of a squid.

1st graders engaged in learning all about Christopher Columbus!

The Second Graders in Ms. Hensle’s class conducted a S.T.E.M. Experiment related to our science curriculum: Where do rivers start and how do they flow?

First graders during Science class completed a STEM project: Can you construct a floating raft out of apples and toothpicks? 🍎🍏

Mrs. Knapp's first grade class is learning about narrative and expository text. The students created their own poster and sorted book cover titles from a magazine into narrative and expository columns. 📚

All grade levels are welcome and encouraged to participate!
