Then, The National Geographic Bee could be for you!On Friday, December 6, 2019, Clarendon School held The Preliminary National Geographic School Bee. Our nine finalists competed in this intense competition in numerous rounds that included State Saavy, State Nicknames, Weird But True, Last Wild Places, Odd One Out, World Civilizations and the astounding Cities of the World! Our Geo Bee champion was identified after a total of ten rounds. Second and third place winners went on for an additional eight rounds before their placement was achieved.Congratulations to all participants, finalists and winners. You are all achievers!First Place - Siya ChopraSecond Place - Ananya BajpaiThird Place - Sarah Veloz Siya has been named the 2019-2020 Clarendon School’s National Geographic Bee Champion. She will be taking the online state qualifying test in January 2020. If Siya qualifies, she may go on to compete at The State Bee in April, 2020. The National Championship will be held in Washington DC in May, 2020. We are wishing Siya all the best on the state assessment.
